The Street Triple 765 RS is the top spec version in the Street Triple family Or rather an upgrade to the Street Triple 765 S in terms of power and features. The street triple RS is Rs 1.84 lakh costlier than the standard Street Triple S, the RS has a number of high-performance twerks on offer.
Engine & Performance
The RS is equipped with 765cc, inline, three-cylinder engine that makes more power and torque than the standard street triple S. It churns out 10hp more than the standard i.e. total of 123hp and 77Nm of torque. The best performance can be achieved at higher rpm levels, which means to ride it harder up to the triple digit its race track focus.
Suspension & Riding Dynamics
The suspension is also upgraded on the Street triple RS. It now gets fully-adjustable Showa Big Piston forks up front and an Ohlin’s STX40 monoshock at the rear that works nicely & provides better riding dynamics. At 166kg, it is also the lightest bike in its segment. Further, the bike comes equipped with front brakes that now use high spec Brembo’s M50 monoblock brake system which works superbly with segment first Pirelli’s super sticky, Super-corsa track focused tyres that are available as standard.
Features & other Updates
Now The Street RS comes with a user friendly, high resolution colour screen that provides almost every information you should know before riding this bad boy. It’s an upgrade from the simple analogue-digital meter on the S. The other features on RS include three riding modes & a quick gear shifter.
The RS has got some visual upgrades i.e. two unique colours – Matt Silver Ice & Phantom Black metallic.
Considering all the additional litre bikes like high-spec features & equipment’s that are on offer, Triumph has done a great job with the pricing. The Street Triple RS is a perfect combination for the rider who wants a street bike with a taste of Sports and track focused machine.
