The facelifted 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift will be available in the same five trims and comes mated to the same engine options. So you do not get an engine update or any changes in the torque figures. It continues to come mated to both manual and automatic transmissions making the car more reliable as the manufacturer has not experimented on that part.

2018 Hyundai Creta Engine & Performance

Inside the hood nothing seems to be changed. The 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift still comes with a 90HP, 1.4 litre diesel engine which has done the job pretty well. The same 1.6 litre petrol producing 123 horses and the 1.6 litre diesel producing a massive 128 horsepower.

However, the automatic is not available for the SX(O) variant. That surely means you will miss on the Sunroof and wireless charging as an option for the automatics.

Conclusion

The 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift though refreshed but still it competes in the eyes of cars like Renault Captur and the S Cross. But the S-Cross misses on the sunroof and none of the cars comes equipped with features like wireless charging. Also, it has a huge competition from cars like Vitara Bezza, Tata Nexon and Ford Ecosport plus a 7-seater like Mahindra XUV 500 base models. Moreover, we could have expected ventilated seats upfront as Hyundai has the technology to do the same as seen on the Verna but there’s very less to complain about. We all know how well the car is in terms of longevity and durability for the Indian markets.
