The car also delivers more range than its rivals in the market such as the BMW X1 x Drive25e and the Volvo XC40. It is speculated to provide a range of 65 Kilometers with that motor in one charge cycle only on the Electric motor.
Talking about the 15kWh battery, it will take around 30 minutes to reach 80% from a standstill 0 charge using a 32kW public charging point. Using a 3 pin home socket it might take 7 hours to fully charge the motor so a switch on at the night and the car should be ready for the next day’s commute.
We are yet to receive any communication of this kind of Hybrid to be launched in India. This is primarily because of the norms we have in our country. We need to realize that at the end the people living in this country are losing a lot in terms of innovation in the automobile industry.
