Iconic Brezza – based Toyota Urban Cruiser is all set to launch in Indian market in August 2020. We all know about the integration of Toyota and Maruti Suzuki in selling a few set of cars rebadged. The Maruti Brezza is one of the few cars they manufacturers have agreed to exchange.
The Brezza – based Toyota Urban Cruiser will be surely in the competition to beat the likes of the Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue and the Tata Nexon. This is surely to make them the most affordable SUV from the Japanese car makers.
It is being speculated that the Toyota Kirloskar Motors will is officially going to launch the Urban Cruiser in August this year. While their previously launched Toyota Glanza was more like a rebadged Baleno, we can expect the manufacturer to add a few changes to the Urban Cruiser to make it look a bit different than the ongoing model.
Here are a few pointers to keep in mind while looking at Brezza – based Toyota Urban Cruiser :
- Will be borrowing the same design cues with chunky grille and a high set fog light housing to make it look broader from the front
- New addition of alloy wheels to complement the new design
- Expect a different set of tail lamp and a new set up of bumper
- Under the hood most likely nothing will be changed. This results in the Urban Cruiser to come equipped with the same 1.5 L engine and should produce the same 105Bhp power with 138Nm of torque.
This will surely bring a tough competition to the rivals as Toyota has always been up on toes to provide good cover of warranty and after sales service. Please let us know what are your thoughts on the same.
